The D113 Board of Education will discuss artificial turf at DHS and parking lot improvements at DHS, HPHS, and Wolter’s Field. Total cost exceeds $1 million. These projects should be rejected, and the Board should use the money to fund NEEDS such as HVAC and remedying library flooding…
The D113 Board Meeting on 4/25/2011 @ 7:30PM will discuss future steps for the District now that the referendum has failed. All interested citizens are welcome to attend.
An independent forum has been setup to help develop a better plan for District 113. All are welcome.
The Special Meeting of the Board, scheduled to discuss the Artificial Turf at 7:30am on a Friday was cancelled. The Board President’s letter to the public expressing disappointment over the referendum results was removed.
D113 President Bonnie Shelnsky is “displeased” that the April 2011 Referendum didn’t pass. They promise to work harder, then go ahead and schedule a meeting to discuss an expensive WANT – artificial turf – at a special 7:30AM Board Meeting on a Friday…
